Announcement - Final conference event

The Mirror project has developed Training Package with Didactic Guidelines for VET teachers, VET staff and HR staff to increase awareness of apperance issues including body image, and appearance-related teasing, bullying and discrimination and appearance concerns in young people.

Project's final event will be organised to share project’s results and attract key experts and researchers from countries not involved in the MIRROR project. World leading researchers in the field of appearance issues will present their findings at the conference focusing on the communication aspects of appearance issues, as well as on cultural and social context and psychological/physical impacts, which will be the starting point for the group discussions on recognizing appearance-related distress and offering support.

The event will be celebrated in Randers, Denmark, October 29th 2015.
